Dexter
|
Dexter is a rescue cat whose Mom ran afoul of a coyote. I met him in the backroom of a Paseo Nuevo shop where he was living with a dozen other rescued kittens. In a sea of gray and white tabbys, he was the lone orange cat, hiding behind a broom. Meeting Dexter today, a mere three months later, you would never know that Dexter’s early life had been so tumultuous. He is friendly and rambunctious, and purrs for anyone who picks him up--even the vet! He recently made friends with Luna, the house dog, despite being nearly a quarter of her size. Dexter is my reminder that if you stay positive in the face of adversity you can prevail. Also, he is ridiculously cute!
