Thank you Edhat for visiting Franceschi Park. A project of the Pearl Chase Society is the restoration of Dr. Franceschi's house. The Society has secured the building both from the weather and vandalism. Architectural plans have been drawn up. The Pearl Chase Society believes in the power of collaboration. At the urging of concerned citizens and with the support of the Santa Barbara City Council, the Pearl Chase Society in 2000 developed a plan to partner with the City to rehabilitate Franceschi House. The problem is that the City, due to the economic downturn, is no longer able to fund its part of the partnership. The Pearl Chase Society is committed to the restoration.
