I have worked in downtown Carp for almost 15 years and those are just some of the beautiful reasons I love working down there. Those and Rincon before work and the estuary or bluffs on lunch break. Still can't beat coming home to good old SB though!

Gidget was the younger, fun loving sister to an older and always serious sister on tv- played by Sally Field.

i love living in carp. my favorite places to eat are the cork tree cellars on linden ave and zookers on casitas pass rd. check out our ninety nine cent store near albertsons, the farmers market on thursday afternoons, and pacific health foods, near vons. take the twenty five cent shuttle around town; a very sweet little community.

Gidget stayed clean and fun. Barbie went for breast enhancements, lower State bar-hopping, got the bimbonic plague, and ultimately became a homeless meth-head.

Take a hike along our bluffs on the east end of town, visit the seals. On the west end is a lovely marsh with guided tours every sat. at 10:00am

What a great intro to Carp! I know bits and pieces, but this makes me want to come and spend the weekend--maybe even move there! Can anyone recommend a good website with maps of parks etc? Flicka, thanks for the tip on the marsh tours. I was just at Seaside Gardens Nsy and their riparian area was brimming with birds. What a community treasure.
