Mutilation of a mountain lion corpse for profit. Just when you thought that stories about people couldn't get any more depressing, along comes a story like this. Thanks to Julia and her Animal Rescue Team for providing a place for orphaned wildlife.

Poor Julie. How terrible for her to see this tragic sight. This beautiful creature treated with such absolute cruel disrespect. There is no end to man's cruelty.

Sounds awfully suspicious and unlikely that a paw-coveting poacher would just happen to be driving along and "bam" hit his favorite prey. Perhaps he killed it and dumped it by the road and it was hit by a car subsequently? Calling sherlock holmes!

Does it sometimes seem like the world has gone crazy? Viiolence on different levels seems to increase daily. Just listening to the news on TV is often a little trip into hell.

Yes, I sometimes think the world has gone crazy. Then I remember how humans used to get entertainment through Gladiator games. Makes me think we just have this kind of nasty, ugliness built right in...How is that for a cheery thought? While not cheery and uplifting, it just IS. We humans are capable of creating living Hell for ourselves and each other, including all life on the planet. We are also capable of wonderful, loving generosity and hope. I have stopped taking my daily journey to Hell (watching/listening to the news, and considering a life without Edhat too) because I don't need to know the details anymore. I am trying to be as kind and loving as possible to all people and things I contact on a daily basis. It's up each individual to offset the negativity with daily actions. There are many of us left, who care. Have faith in yourself, that YOU can change the world, even if its your own little world...gonna volunteer
