It would be prudent to stay away from these power plants, as the BWR Mark 1 reactor is a design that is vented. There is no protocol by which notification is given to the public on venting. It just occurs and goes unnoticed, except by a few exceptionally observant farmers who observe the effect of the fallout later, on their crops. I have it from those in the know, that most of these models (Fukushima included) create the need to vent and do so, with positive results for the reactor, and negative results for human cancer stats. We need to stop boiling water with these imperfect plants-they are risky, expensive, and frankly, terrifying. Write, call, speak and please don't stop doing it. The agriculture in this area is fantastic, and yet, at great risk in every moment that Diablo is allowed to breathe.

I would have thought that airspace would somehow be restricted.

He isn't over the reactors.

Quite a ways from them and the Avila picture is down the coast a reasonable amount from the reactors.
