I drove past this shortly after it happened. It looked like all occupants were out of the vehicles and standing along the center divider. They all looked relatively calm and safe. There were no emergency vehicles on site yet, and NB traffic was still able safely pass on the righ shoulder / exit ramp. There was evidence of liquid leaking and slowly running across the freeway. The nature of the collision was shocking, and difficult to process. At least one car was turned completely around, and another vehicle had actually come to rest on top of a third -- as if the third had slid under the second. I believe all 6 vehicles had considerable damage, but, amazingly, little of the damage seemed to impact the cabin. Hooray for engineering and crumple-zones. Hope all involved are fine. Drive safely. Leave adequate following distance.

I hope everyone in the accident is okay. Most likely someone was either on their cell phone talking or texting. When will people give up their Big Brother tracking devices and get the government out of our lives! Roger, you are NOT an idiot as far as I am concerned, but don't sew anything to your head to add to your pain, otherwise it'll be 4:20 & 8:40 allllll day long!!!! Stay safe people and for goodness sake don't talk or text when you are driving....that means you cops as well!!!!!

The news showed photos last night and stated that one car had slid under another, so probably unable to stop. Leave lots of space on the freways.
