Dan can you describe Wet Wednesday? Does the canoe group ever get up to Morro Bay? A friend of mine crews in a dragon boat and trains there. Have been meaning to get up there some morning to watch them. They compete in sprint races rather than for distance. All Breast Cancer survivors, doing it for physical therapy.

I had dinner on The World once since a business associate of my husband's owns a few condos on it. Pretty spectacular facilities if you have millions you don't know what to do with.

SEED.... Wet Wednesday is a SB Yacht Club thing involving sailboats only. Sailboats and outriggers don't fare well in the same patch of water as the former like to zigzag and the latter go straight.... collisions between the two typically sends paddlers to the hospital. Also canoes are harder to see than other sailboats.

While you were talking about the cruise ship, the top photograph has the mainsail showing of the cruising catamaran, Natural Mystic, which Kyber Louge bought in Rhode Island in 2007 and has cruised the world in ever since. Over the past 5 years he has sailed through the Caribbean, Panama Canal, South Pacific before entering Santa Barbara harbor for the first time with her yesterday!
