This is Magee and Sophie, two wonderful Pembroke Welsh corgis that live in Santa Barbara.
Magee, a Tri colored corgi, was born in North Carolina. He is the puppy of my Aunt and Uncle’s dog, Maddie. Magee likes to spend his days eating bark and sticks, rolling on bugs and sunbathing out on the grass in the sun. He is the protector of the food and won’t let his sister Sophie or the cats get near the kibble. Magee is a very vocal dog and likes to greet all visitors with a little “How are you” howl.
Sophie, a Sable colored corgi, was born in Pahrump, NV and all her brothers and sisters went off to herd cattle. She however spends her days herding her two cats to dinner, staring down gopher holes for hours, gardening in the backyard and playing with all her toys. The only thing that she hates in life are ceiling fans, we removed ours but if you point to where it was she goes crazy, barking and jumping around. She is also the smartest dog I know, she has an incredible memory and can remember all the names of her toys (She has about 100+!)
Magee and Sophie’s favorite treat is ice from the refrigerator, however they don’t like the ice cubes in their water bowls.
Magee and Sophie are both loveable and very well behaved corgis who will not touch their food until you say the word “Ok”, they even let the cats eat first! Their favorite times of the year are Halloween, when they get to get dressed up in costumes and Christmas time when they are allowed in the living room to open their stockings and presents!
