From The Edhat Attic
From The Edhat Attic - Ed and the Giant Fig Tree
There once was a time when one of the biggest tourist attractions in Santa Barbara was a tree. A big fig tree you could see from the freeway. The tree is still there, presumably even bigger than it was before. Its common name around town is, The Fig Tree. Back in the day, you could see it as you idled on THE 101.
