Butterfly Beach on an October Saturday

It was a lovely day at Butterfly Beach on Saturday, and there were lots of people out enjoying it. Quite a few surfers were in the water at Hammonds, and mid-afternoon a walk of Montecito churchgoers passed by carrying buckets in an effort to bring attention to global water issues. Also, the beached sailboat "Scotty" from Marina del Rey attracted attention.
