Water Stop
updated: Mar 21, 2010, 9:02 PM

By Dedicated Staff

Friday's March Edness picture was of a drinking fountain. It's a place to stop for a tall drink of water on a hot summer day. Edhat has considered drinking fountains before. Once we counted the number of people drinking from the fountain at the downtown library. Another time we presented a very hard to locate WWII from Skofield Park.

This time, the drinking fountain was only easy for people who drive their bikes on the bike path that goes from Modoc to UCSB. Part of the path goes through neighborhood streets of Hope Ranch Annex. On one such leg, the bike route goes right past the Santa Barbara Seventh-day Adventist Church. There, thirsty travelers will find a place to stop and get a drink of cool, cool water … from a drinking fountain … the one shown in the Where Is It picture.

Impossible to locate, you say ... well four Edhat subscribers knew the watering hole by the Church. And, that's all we have to say about that.
