I haven't tried 'em, but I know that Mad Dog's at 505 State St. has what you're looking for.

I was at Norton's pastrami on Figueroa yesterday and saw someone eating a monster plate of pastrami chili cheese fries. I haven't tried them personally but they looked pretty amazing!

In n Out DOES NOT have chili on its menu so do not have chili fries. They have ANIMAL FRIES which is fries with melted cheese & grilled onions on top. A great change if you want to try them!!

I thought only certain Habit locations have chili? Maybe check online before heading out but I think the original in Old Town Goleta is one Habit location that does chili.

Whatever you do stay away from In 'n Out fries. By far the worst fries in the world.

In'nOut fries are made by from fresh potatoes that are sliced not long before they are fried. I think when they are just finished cooking they taste very good. But if you let them sit until cold then I agree with 127379

I've had the chili fries and chili dogs at the Goleta Habit and didn't like either because the chili wasn't that good. I know chili is a matter of taste but I'm not a fan of theirs.

Another vote for L and L in Goleta. About $2.50 for a nearly-meal sized portion of chili cheese fries. A Sunday morning Isla Vista cure many times over.

Not to put too much of a damper on the appetite, but the LA Times Sports section today reports that two UCLA basketball players got food poisoning after celebrating a victory over Cal Poly after eating chili chicken cheese fries at an undisclosed establishment late Saturday.

Was just at Cold Springs Tavern yesterday, and their chili is famous for being delicious so you might try their chili fries and get to enjoy the unique location at the same time!

Beachbreak Cafe has great chili cheese fries, i think i heard they use the same chili as Tommy Burgers in LA uses. I don't like the ones at Kahuna Grill, sorry.

Tommy Burgers gets their chili straight from a huge can...perhaps the worst chili from a place that touts its chili-laden fare.
