Do You Sudoku? - You can now play the Daily Sudoku on Edhat. How fast can you fill in the blanks? | | May 13, 2012 - Hi Mom!
Today is the mother of all days. It's Mother's Day! Now, you may poo-poo it as a holiday made up by Hallmark to sell more cards. But it does target a very important person in your life, one who might need a little extra appreciation about now.
Ed, who's been doing a little soul searching these days, has come to the conclusion that a good sign of a person's character is their relationship with their mom, and how that relationship is portrayed to the world at large. Basically, good people care a lot about their old mums, even if she is a little difficult at times, as the case may be. Of course, Ed's true talent is not psychology, but counting things. And, he is quick to point out, it is super easy to count the number of moms someone has. And it is a preciously low number.
So on this day, characterized by overpriced flowers and dumb cards, we hope you can spend some time with the person who got you here in the first place; your mom. Happy Mother's Day from Ed and the dedicated staff of edhat.com!
