Monday. Anutter week ahead to look forward to. I wonder if I will get any sleep this week. Took kitty in to get fixed and get his shots. They kept him Wednesday night. Thursday he got nipped, they wanted to keep him Thursday and give him back FRYday. I said ok. FRYday, I took him home and he howled to get out of the hot house and doggie cage. The gal over there at the Animal hospital said if I wanted I could keep him there all weekend. I took him back thinking he will get used to being inside which would make it easier for me to keep him inside at night. Things went downhill after that. Especially when the gal said "If we think that you are abusing the cat by letting him stay outside all night we can take him away from you." Now the doctor who started that animal hospital never said that to me before. I have had 3 other cats that were outdoor cats and lived that way just fine. When they got older they all stayed in. The cats stay outside in the day and come in at night I have never abused a cat. WHAT THE HELL? I take the cat to get fixed and all his shots and I'm abusing it if I let it outside? Now Belinda is mad at me too! I'm not even married to her. Who the HELL is the one being abused here? I am that's who! Because, besides this, Pooh Bear has been howling for Jo Bear to come home. He didn't like the cat before, now he loves him. Yes she changed his name again. And where's that friggin lobotomy I ordered?!!! That would fix all of this. I am hoping that I can pick up kitty tomorrow.
A reader commented on my comment on the Ped vs Motorist vs Bicyclist thread that "I think I'm tough.." Actually no I'm not tough; I'm fed up with everything getting run off the road by motorists is just one thing. There are otters here's just a few. Aggressive Panhandlers I really dislike them because many get a check and it usually goes for drugs and alcohol usually 2 days after an addict gets their check it's burned. An alcoholic usually makes it last a few days. Then out comes the gas can and the Sob Story, or they are really noisy "Going to the store are ya? Will I wish I could go to the store and get some food I'm starving." Even though they just ate at the shelter. After I spend my check on rent and bills the food I buy usually makes it 3 weeks into the month that is unless there is a power outage. Lately I have been doing a little better and Catholic Charities is always there to help. Sometimes I feel like carrying a frozen turkey leg on me for those panhandlers when they say "I sure wish I had something to eat." Give it to ‘em!
Drunks are another group of people I'm fed up with. "Loud Drunks" an explanation is really not necessary all of us have had experiences with "Loud Drunks" this is Santa Barbara and they go hand in hand with Aggressive Panhandlers, but I have loud drunks at home they follow me where ever I go. I think when I was a baby my parents had a "Drama Chip" implanted in me. People that think they are Dogs Gift to the world those Bright and Shining Stars that continually toot their own horn are very annoying. They usually make themselves known around Election Day as most are politicians. One more commercial and I'm going to take that frozen turkey leg and jam it! Then there's the rest Public Officials whom either take short cuts or don't do their jobs at all taking days off and driving their tax payer paid vehicles all over the place running personal errands. These people get government checks also and some do less work than people who receive disability. I'm not saying all government workers are lazy bums that get a check, but there are a few.
Child Molesters, Rapists, Woman and Child Abusers, Elder Abusers, these are people in my opinion that would make better fertilizer than they do people but I would not want them on my lawn. Drunk Drivers there are many, many, Drunk Drivers on the road and I'm fed up with all of them. Dog Forbid if someone should be crossing the street in a crosswalk in front of a Drunk Driver when no one's around the pedestrian better be able to run or jump out of the way because more than likely that is what they would have to do. A drunk or DUI driver thinks they are the only ones who have the right to be on the road like a motorist on steroids. Racism this really gets to me to constantly blame others for all the scrap that is going on in our town is not getting to the Fart of the matter, and it never will. It's just the same thing over and over again.
I want my Jo Bear back and so does Pooh Bear. Cats are good listeners and when I'm not writing I'm talking to the cats. I'm not abusing them. I feed them better food than I eat, get ‘em their shots, take care of them when they're sick. Spoil the HELL out of them. A lot of people put them down when they get sick. Not Me. I take them to the Doctor get ‘em well so they can listen to me a few more years they might need a little therapy but that's ok, Poor Cats.
Tomorrow would have been Brad's birthday. He died back in 2004. He was my best friend for 23 years. He had bone cancer his doctor would not prescribe him medical marijuana for pain, because he was afraid the government would take away his license to practice medicine. Just another one of those things I'm "Fed Up" over. I can't do anything about it but Rant and that is what I've been doing for years. Happy Birthday Brad, wherever you are, I love you.

The Evening before FRYday Morning Thursday night a man called CHP to report that he was having an anxiety attack. He was pulled over at El Capitan and waiting for fire and medics to arrive but when they got there he was gone. Calling them back he was canceling stating that at the time of the 2nd call he was on Highway 101 Southbound at Los Carneros and he was OK Now. Will the dispatcher said that he sounded under the influence of something and he was refusing to pull over and he just disappeared after wasting the responder's time and taxpayer's money with his Namby Pamby Anxiety attack. The only description of this guy was that he was driving a Gold Toyota Camry another Law Breaker on the road.
I have Anxiety Attacks I am in no way putting down people that have them but people need to take responsibility for their medical conditions. If you call 911 don't leave because you feel better at least call and cancel but if the dispatcher tells you to stay, then wait.

I heard something as I was drifting off to sleep about 2 small vessels off Summerland it sounded like the city police channel. I don't know what was going on but I did hear they were not panga boats.
Scanner Reports, Saturday:
500 Block of East Anapamu a vehicle was being towed. It must have been blocking someone from getting out.
A reporting party in the first block of Ocean View reported that someone was climbing over their fence, this was in the morning.
The last call or close to it Saturday Evening there was a report of a burglary at the same address different apartment.
At Pelican Park in IV Report of transient bleeding from the face Medical Emergency, fall Victim bloody nose.
Illegal Camper in doorway 1100 Block of State Street.
SBPD Officer was contacting one at Dwight Murphy.
Someone was yelling at an apartment complex in the 500 Block of West Canon Perdido "Call the Police" it was an Unknown 415.
500 Block of East Ortega 415 Domestic.
200 Block of Sherwood medical emergency for a Suicide Attempt for slashed wrist. A few moments later heard 1144 but not sure if it was the same call 1144 is dead body.
A 1998 Plymouth Voyager registered to a unit at the Fall Down Hotel on East Haley smashed into a parked tan Honda Accord at Valerio and State Street and kept going. The getaway car had heavy damage and two flat tires on the driver's side. I stink police caught up with the car and its owner at Victoria and Santa Barbara Street.
Smoke investigation in the area of Skofield Park, two engine companies could find no smoke or no fire, in the area.
On Highway 166 one mile North West of Rock Front Ranch report of a brush fire at first to be reported as 50x50 feet grew into 20 acres. The last I heard containment was expected by midnight.
A shot was fired from one apartment into another in the 900 Block of San Pasqual prompting SBPD to secure the area, evacuate other apartments and bring in reinforcements. I initially heard there were two people in the suspect apartment. Two vacated and were detained there were 2 others seen another vacated apartment and was detained. One more was said to be in the apartment but a couple hours later when police forced the door and sent the K-9 Officer in no one was found. At 4:12am this morning about 8 or so hours later there was a report of loud music coming from the shooter's apartment in the 900 Block of San Pasqual. I'd rather live in Salinas than on San Pasqual.
In the 6700 Block of Alandra a Hit and Run Driver ran into several vehicles then was trying to get away. Last I heard he was a Hispanic male adult driving a black Navigator.
At the Oceano Dunes a vehicle accident Cal Star was responding.
Santa Barbara County Helicopter was responding to the brush fire as well as many other resources. I also heard that a suspicious vehicle was possibly seen in the area Patrol 17 Investigator was responding for that.
There was a report of juveniles throwing eggs from a Champagne colored Ford Explorer on Del Sol. I wish they would through some over here I could make an egg salad sandwich.
SBPD Were in foot pursuit of 4 subjects running South on Laguna from the 1900 Block I never heard why everyone was running maybe they all just wanted to bond and go out for a little jog together. A couple Santa Barbara police officers and four gang types.
1200 Block of Chino 415 Fight between a male and a female.
San Pasqual Street opened back up at 7:05pm.
SBSO was responding to Lake Cachuma to help evict two Camp Sites of 6 rowdy HELL raisers, Campsites 234 and 235.
200 Block of Calle Cesar Chavez in North County report of 242 Assault to an 11 year old boy.
At Powers and Carpinteria report of a large group of Transients sleeping there.

Arbolitos at Hollister Police were in pursuit of Hit and Run Subject. All I heard is he was tall, skinny, wearing a hat, sounds like a Ding Dong to me. Left his vehicle unoccupied and running at 4505 Hollister.
Of course the last call was the residential burglary in the first Block of Ocean View, the same place where a neighbor saw a fella hop a fence earlier in the day.

Report of 5-6 Subjects fighting at Vera Cruz Park 130 East Haley. I think most of ‘em were gone before police got there.
484 Notebooks from Rite Aid 35 South Milpas. She left them there in the store left North on Milpas in a white SUV.
415 Domestic yellin', screamin', glass breaking Motel 6 3505 State Street.
2800 Block of State the ongoing 415 Domestic is ongoing again this is the place with the broken windows. These people should not be together.
Suspicious vehicle purple 2-door 10 South Milpas hanging out 2 hours.
Brush Fire near Santa Ynez Airport 1800 Block of Refugio Road.
200 Block of Ladera 459 Burglary to residence.
At 4:12 am Sunday morning there was a report of Loud Music coming from the apartment where the gunshot was fired from Saturday Evening.
Report of Dog running loose on the freeway near Carrillo at around 9am Sunday morning.
Medical Emergency for an unresponsive 22 year old male on the corner of State and Gutierrez.
Large group of transient males fighting 407 Bath Street, juvenile female ran from the scene police pursued and caught her. I wonder if they were fighting over the little girl? I could see someone making the wrong move on her. Then Street Justice kicking in. It happens.
Suspicious circumstances Black male adult wearing camo trespassing in vacant apartment on North La Cumbre.
Old Coast and Harbor View 20002 Hit and Run.
Another 20002 Hit and Run 1000 East Montecito White work truck Hispanic male adult 50's wearing a blue hat and blue shirt. They might have caught up to him not sure.

I think it was around 3ish am or so when police entered an apartment in the 800 Block of East Figueroa where a man or something that resembles one was battering a woman.
In the 6600 Block of Segovia in IV by the sea. SBSO had a male at gun point that was near a burning dumpster.
I couldn't sleep too well Sunday Morning thinking about that little kitty hopefully we can get him back soon. Anyway have a great Monday. Dog Willing we will all see each otter on Wednesday. Roger
