A film crew was in Montecito this afternoon. Does anyone know what and/or who they were filming?

There were signs posted on trees around 1250 Coast Village Road saying they were filming under the title "Montecito Ballroom." I didn't see faces, but it appeared to be two females. It was interesting to see the way the cameras were set up.

Over at Tri County Produce they were filming a nice young homeless couple on Facebook under the Milpas Community site everyone should see it. It's really a very nice film restores ones faith in human beings...

The title "Montecito Ballroom" is enough to give me diabetes. I'm sure it's full of ersatz Kartrashians (yes I stole that because it's brilliant.)

I think Tibbly's got it. They were filming yesterday at the dance studio on DLV & Canon Perdido. It's a new reality tv show based on ballroom dancing.

The Community Film Studio of Santa Barbara is also filming a movie called "The Bet" written by local singer/songwriter/screenwriter Annie J Dahlgren. Don't know if they were in Montecito but they are shooting all around SB this month.

Filming of the homeless by Tri-County Produce might be for the CNN story on the homeless in Santa Barbara (and elsewhere) following the story in Rolling Stone.

Thanks for the answer! Looks like Ryan Seacrest is producing a reality show about ballroom dancers, so the working title makes sense. It definitely wasn't about the homeless here in Santa Barbara, as it was being filmed at an upscale restaurant on Coast Village Road and two well dressed ladies were sitting there.
